USB wireless internet install problem
I'm trying to set up a Mythdora setup. The computer is running the current Mythdora 10.21, based on FC8. I have a USB wireless internet adapter, Xternsys XN-3134G. I did some searching and the driver is included with the kernel as of 2.6.18 or so, if I remember correctly. However, lsusb shows it loaded as D-Link WL54. I can't connect using iwconfig to put in all the network info.
The network configuration menu shows the D-Link as well, associated with the device wlan0. I added this under the devices menu, but can't activate it. I get an error "SIOCSIFFLAGS: No such file or directory." /etc/sysconfig/networking/devices shows an ifcfg-wlan0 file containing the network information I previously tried using iwconfig.
I am unsure where to go from here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
