Hello friends,i previously used to work on vi editor,version 5.Now i installed the latest vi editor,but whenever i mention vi,my old version is launched.
I went to thee bin folder and replaced vi 5's core image,with vi 7's.But then syntax highlighting,auto-indent and such good features are not missing.I checked my .exrc file and it is perfect.
What can i do in order to completely override my vi 5 with vi 7?So that i can start using some really good features?
