internet problem
hi ,i installed fedora 8 in vmware on windows xp.my problem is iam unable to connect internet in fedora.i terminal if i type ifconfig and ipconfig .its says bash:command not found.
i have configured ip settings.still its not working
please can anybody help me

As a normal user type: /sbin/ifconfig

But your computer install centos 5.2 . when i installed comple , os didn't find divec eth0 .

Try using a bridged connection.
Before you start the Vm push the options and add a internet device and choose bridged boot up and it should use the internet your XP is using.
It worked for me when I used vmware.
