modem problem
hello everybody.. i am new to linux.. ive installed fedora in my system along with xp.. internet works fine in xp.. but in fedora it doesnt.. i don't know why.. can any of you plz help me out.. i would like to use linux also with ease.. thank you in advance..
eth0 is active (enabled) so i guess my NIC is workin fine in fedora..
i think my modem doesnt get recognised.. beetel ADSL 220BX with airtel connection.. i cudnt find a driver 4 linux n i don't know how 2 instal it even if i find 1..
plz any1 help me out..

I just did this USB high-speed (Verizon) modem configuration for Linux. All pages that I found said make sure you have the service activated in WINDOWS FIRST. Then I went to the step-by-step here:

Settings for your modem will be different, but it should get you into the right area.
