No, the command line should work the same in Fedora as in Red Hat.
If you want something closer to RHEL without having to pay for it, look as CentOS because it's the same thing, except that it has all the RHEL logos stripped from it, and there is no fee charged for it.oz

Fedora uses the same basic internal software as Redhat Enterprise, but it also tends to test out a lot of new and relatively untested software as well. If you're looking to learn about Redhat Enterprise Linux or use Linux in a commercial server-type way I would strongly suggest you NOT use Fedora.
Instead, I would use CentOS, which is a distribution built from precisely the same source code as Redhat Enterprise Linux just without the Redhat brand name and logos or official Redhat for-pay support structure. Updates are free for CentOS and it looks and functions much closer to RHEL than Fedora.Registered Linux user #270181

I just installed RHEL Server 5.3 on my Eee Pc 900, so that I can gain some experience in it. I got a 30-day free trial, through Red Hat. After registration, I have 30 days access to the repository for updates, and installations.
I'm not sure if the installation will stop working after 30 days, but I doubt that that will happen. I guess that I will find out.Paul
