installatiom of gcc on RHEL 4

I am new to redhat Linux .
Can anyone tell me how to install GCC on RHEL 4.x 64 bit machine?
I would also like to know the entire commands supported by RedHat .
Need help for final year project .

We have a lot of members here who are more than willing to help you in any way they can, but please try to have more patience, after all, we are only volunteers.
I would try this command, for installing gcc

yum -y install gcc*

I would also like to know the entire commands supported by RedHat .

Redhat supports all the same commands as any other distro, plus a few more that are Redhat/Fedora specific. You would need to search for the for the type of commands you seek. I mean we have FTP commands, Shell commands, Administrative Commands, File Manipulation commands. Here is a list of some commonly used commands, but not the entire list.
