Cant wrote to empty RE-writable DVD+RW???

Found a box of re-writable discs

    Cant write to it -
    HTML Code:
    sudo cp /dev/sdb1 /dev/scd0

cp: writing `/dev/scd0': No space left on device

    Anybody?

    Edit:
Apparently I have designated the 'copy to' device incorrectly.
I had a music disk in earlier, and it mounted at scd0.
What's the proper designation to copy to the optical drive, with a blank DVD in???

Edit: I thought your original post was talking about a DVD +R . Now that I see it's a DVDRW disregard my post.
