    Welcome to the forums!

    I think any of the following players should play MP3 files, and of course there are others:

    mplayer
    vlc
    xine
    rhythmbox
    amarok

    You can probably use the yum package tool to install the player of your choice:

    Code:
    yum install name_of_package
    Note that the package you want to install has to reside in the repositories that you use. Otherwise you can probably find an RPM to install, or install from source.
