Hi all, i'm fairly new to this operating system, but i have had the laptop for a while now (with a different operating system) and i managed to break the screen :S.

BUT! i have hatched a plan, being that it is now connected up to a 19 inch monitor via a VGA cable, and i intend to somehow fix the laptop to the back of the monitor, and create an iMac style computer, but, the fixing of the laptop to the back of the screen requires the lid to be closed.

which results in the laptop going into sleep mode. does anybody know how to disable this lid close sleep mode thing as it is interrupting my plans

laptop is running Linpus linux lite (based on fedora core 8, i think, so commands from that OS should work if i'm not mistaken)
