    Use a gnome hex editor ghex, try if you can get it from YUM or download it Here---> ftp.gnome.org

    Thanks for the reply b2bwild...I checked out Yum (yum list available 'hex*') and found hexedit and for I need its perfect...That Yum is a very functional and easy to use package manager even in the console...Thanks again Gerard4143
