    Fedora 10 video Intel GMA X4500

    Hello,

    I am trying to install Fedora 10 on Nexlink 3000 Desktop
    with Intel GMA X4500
    installation finished and updated through yum
    and text mode is only running

    tried startx

    (==) Using config file: "/etc/X11/xorg.conf"
    (EE) GARTInit: Unable to open /dev/agpgart (No such file or directory)
    (EE) [drm] drmOpen failed.
    (EE) intel(0): [dri] DRIScreenInit failed. Disabling DRI.
    (EE) intel(0): Couldn't allocate video memory

    tried to edit the xorg.conf with no success

    do I need to download video drivers?
    Any assistance appreciated

    Post the contents of /etc/X11/xorg.conf file here. Post the output of this too :

lspci | grep -i vga
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
