how to block websites
hi all,
i use fedora 9. my default browser is firefox.
i want to make such a setting so that certain web sites that i will mention will not be accessed on my machine.
can i do it by making changes in the hosts or hosts,conf file? how shall i do it?
please reply.

example:
vi /etc/hosts
127.0.0.1 www dot google dot com
127.0.0.1 www dot yahoo dot com
