Compiz error when running compiz-manager on Fedora 10

i get the error above after installing compiz for my laptop using this guide:
Fedora10 - Fedora Guide

has anyone come across this? cheers

I think you may be missing a gconf package, try:

yum install gconf-editor

as root.
