I've been ranting about Linux font rendering for a long time, it seems that most people dont care much about crisp fonts. Anyway, the best results I have achieved when using a re-complied freetype2 library where bytecode interpreter was set to "enabled". I know this is a patented feature so most distros dont ship with this enabled.

Are there any instructions on how to enable BCI for Fedora 10?
