    Blank white screen enabling Desktop effects

    Hi
    Every time I select enable Desktop effects in Fedora 10 I get a blank white screen. I have read about this a lot on the internet but I am still unsure on how to fix it.

    This is the output I get from the lspci | grep -i vga command:

    01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc Mobility Radeon HD 3400 Series

    Can anyone help me fix this?

    Hi and Welcome !

    Have you installed ATI Proprietary Driver?
    Execute this
    Code:
    grep -i driver /etc/X11/xorg.conf
    Post output here.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
