I`m new in this linux world an i have a frustraiting problem:
I install fedora 10 on a macbook and i dont know how to install the airport card to have a wi-fi conexion
please help me

Isn't airport a wireless AP? If it is, you don't have to install it on your Linux OS. The only thing you require, your OS, to detect, is your wireless network card. If it's not detecting it, it means the drivers for it are not in the kernel. What wireless card are you using?

the wireless card is airport extreme with firmware Broadcom BCM43xx 1.0, I tried to configure the wireless card on the network preferences but it say that it canīt be able for one reason (I can`t remember now)

When I installed YDL6.1 I got bcm43xx errors and solved the problem by going here: b43 - Linux Wireless
