Please Help! Internet setup with RedHat Enterprise

Hello,
I am new to this forum and Linux in general. I am tried use the search, but did not found a solution to my problem.
I need to connect few computers to the internet. 3 is a Windows and I did not have any problems setting them up. 4th machine is an old computer running Red Hat Enterprise.
Everything was working fine till the last Friday, but my D-link router decided to die.
So I went to the local store and got Netgear Router.
So here is my problem.
As I mentioned before, my Windows machines works fine, but no matter what I try I could not make the Linux computer get online.
I DO NOT use wireless, everything connected by Ethernet cables.
If I unplug ethernet cable from Linux computer and plug it in the Windows computer, I can go online. So I am assuming that the problem is not in the router or the cable.

I tried Setup Internet Connection with Auto settings and Manual IP address, but nothing works.


I hope it is makes sense.

PLEASE HELP!

1) Redhat Enterprise - what version?
2) Can you ping to the router's ip address?
3) run command as root "# ifconfig -a" and provide the results
