    Are there any free, solid linux utilities that can repartition my drives quickly and easily?

    partition magic maybe?
    Version?
    ftp mirror?

    Try the Parted Magic LiveCD.

    It's a quick download and burn to disk, and is very easy to use. Good documentation for it exists on their website, and on the liveCD itself.
