Veritas volume manager

Hi,

Could someone help me in understanding the concept of Veritas Volume Manager and Veritas cluster.
Or someone kindly give links for any turotial or documentation which will be helpful in understanding the above said

hi,
i think Volume Manager will create the VXFS file system and allow you to manage the volume by increasing / decreasing. And it also provide you the fault tollarance as well as the fast data recovery on reattach of the failure disk. Here data are secure.

And Veritas Clustering provides the fault tollarance between the two or more systems. It help to run the application non stop. If one server goes done other server takes the charge of the application/database. So your production never stops.
