diskdump - halt??

I have a RHLE 4, and have just increased swap, updated /etc/sysconfig/diskdump and I ran some tests to make sure the dump does happen, hence I ran
echo c > /proc/sysrq-trigger. I could see the dump proceeded, however, at the end of the dump, it showed

dumping memory(partial dump with dump_level 19)..

<0>halt

I would expect the server reboots, why did it halt?
I suspect there is a setting that I need to set.
