How to create rImage.gz

Dear All,

How to create new ramdisk_image.gz(root file system image ) to create JFFS image to flash onto the flash memory on the target.

I am installing linux bsp on the fedora core 6 machine and by default i am getting ramdisk_image.gz in the /tftpboot folder which is not having the sufficient memory to put my appication image.

Please sugggest me the procedure to create ramdisk_image.gz


I am able to create jffs image by keeping "hello world" application using default ramdisk_image.gz and able to flash it and do the auto run of the application using uboot bootloader and kernel.
