Mysql Install on RHEL
I'm a newbie on here, grateful for any help that can be given. When I try installing MySQL on RHEL 5, the RPMs seem to install but the mysql home directory or nothing of the sort seems to be installed
The command i am using are:
sudo rpm -i MySQL-server-community-5.1.33-0.rhel5.x86_64.rpm
sudo rpm -i MySQL-client-community-5.1.33-0.rhel5.x86_64.rpm
sudo rpm -i MySQL-shared-community-5.1.33-0.rhel5.x86_64.rpm
Please help as i need to have this installed within the next hour or 2.
Thanks
