What really matters is the brand of chip the card is using. Asus most certainly isn't making their own video chips. To find this info, run this command and post theoutput.
    Code:
    lspci
Then you can install and use the correct driver for it.

According to the Asus web site, it contains a nVidia GeForce 6200LE chip. You can most likely install the binary nVidia driver, available from here:

    Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers

This is considered the "hard way" to install the driver, but I think that you get the best driver. For a much easier way, follow this How-To, you need to add the RPMFusion repository first:

    FedoraFAQ:Installing Software
    FedoraFAQ:Installing nVidia Driver

Edit: If you are running Fedora as a virtual system, you may not be able to use those drivers.

It sounds like OP is using a VM to run fedora, in which case, there is only 2d support, it doesn't use the actual video hardware in your machine.

I've only heard of a couple of virtual machines that are capable of doing 3D acceleration, and VMWare isn't one of them. Of the ones that claim the ability, I've never been able to get it to work.

What are you trying to do in a virtual machine that requires 3D acceleration? It's likely that even if you could get 3D working, whatever application you're trying to run would still not have enough resources to run well. Virtual machines are useful for basic, everyday tasks but for resource-intensive things like 3D rendering, heavy number crunching, and 3D games they just don't cut it.
