hi i am using a seikosha gs 2400 dot matrix printer it configured as sp 2400 in windows xp when i tried to connect the same printer in my fedora9(2.6) i tried to configure it as seiko speed jet 200 foomatic/laserjet, it shows as recommended ,the port is LPT#1 the printer configured successfully but when i tried to print the printer is not working well it prints some garbage texts one or two line and stops working why the ppd file?can i get ppd file for my printer?how can i configure my printer ?
the printer is working very well in windows xp
