    Share browser for Gnome?

I still haven't figured out how to mount shares manually and the books I read deal with the internet rather than local area networks. KDE has a program called smbk4 which makes mounting Windows network shares a snap and has worked for me both with Xandros and Ubuntu. It doesn't seem to work with Fedora 10 and Gnome. Is there a similar program available for Gnome?

There is an entry on the Gnome places menu called

    Connect to Server...

This will allow you to connect to servers or shares of almost any kind. It is very straightforward and will then allow you to browse your shares through nautilus as you would with any mounted location. If you have gnome-keyring running (as you likely do) it can also remember the details of the logon for you and you can bookmark any location to remount them anytime you need to.

I've tried it many times. I guess I need some documentation for it. My Fedora doesn't have any docs for it. I'm trying to connect my NAS. I can ping it but I can't connect to it. If I put either the node name or the IP address in this program, Samba says it can't find anything. If I use smbk4, it finds all the nodes and lets me mount them as desired and even put icons on the desktop for them.
