    Unhappy Can't play DVD's in fedora 10

    Hi,
I'm starting this thread to learn how to play all the multimedia in fedora core 10. I've used fedora core from 2 to 8 and in every distribution I've successfully installed the multimedia required to play almost all sorts of files. But now i'm on fedora 10 and I've installed the same libs and packages as before but I'm unable to play the multimedia files and dvds using xine and xine-lib, whereas gstreamer works fine.
Any body willing to help me is welcome, and thanx in advance.

    Question

thanks for the quick reply but I've tried every thing on the page. I've installed almost every package related to multimedia playback like libdvdcss, libdvdread etc. but it's like xine cant find the plugins or they are unsupported in some manner. no options show up on xine player expect CD and DVB and a couple of error messages saying "the stream 'there is no MRL' uses an unsupported codec: Video Codec mpeg 1/2(0x0)" Start playback anyway? Yes No.

    Have you tried VLC Player?
    Code:
    yum -y install vlc
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
