Any rpms for el5 for git 1.6+?

Has anyone created an rpm for el5 for git 1.6 or greater? The git-1.5.5.6 rpm available in the red hat repo is an old version of git. If someone has already created a newer git-1.6+ rpm then I'd like to use it instead of creating one from scratch.

Sorry, but CentOS is only up to 1.5.2.1 in the standard mirrors. You might try the rpmfind web site to see if anyone has built one.
