Dear all,
I am facing one linux booting problem in my home system.It's showing error as mentioned below while booting.
GRUB>
shows this grub error in caps alphabet. i tried to rebuild the grub.but the problem has not solved.please help me to solve the problem.

Which distro are you running?
Have you tried to boot-up with the installation DVD to re-install GRUB? If so, does it throw any errors?Jay

bootloader grub error in capital letters
can u say, is this having any differance which comes with caps and small grub bootloader errors while booting time????

Generally, when you see GRUB > come up during boot, with nothing after that, it means that something has happened to either remove or corrupt your GRUB. Using the installation DVD (or even one from Fedora, if you have one), you can re-install GRUB to a functional state.
Boot up with the disk, go to rescue mode. Depending on your disk layout you'll be able to use something like
Can you boot with any type of LiveCD and post output ofCode:# grub-install /dev/hda
Small L there, not a 1.Code:fdisk -l
