    Which webpage editor to choose?

Hi everyone, as a newbie I'm learning webpage building in kde 4.2 and plan to take it seriously, but among all free editors don't know which one to choose, since I don't have much experience with anyone. From what I could try I've made a selection: Quanta, Bluefish, Aptana studio. What are your experiences with this editors, which do you recomend and why? Any suggestion is highly appreciated, thanks.

I use kate - tabbed KDE text editor. It gives full control over the html being created. I do any php edits in kdevelop, and occasionally make tweaks with vim from the command line.

I found bluefish to be good when I was taking a PHP class, but I didn't know php syntax, and was using it as a crutch.

As an IDE, it is pretty good. As a text editor ... eh, I prefer vi, it is much faster for me since i'm experience with it.

Quanta Plus is good, but for KDE it's hard to beat text editors such as Kate and/or Kwrite.

I tend to stay away from editors that generate code. The code they generate is often quite hard to maintain and nowhere near human-readable. Instead I code my sites by hand in a syntax-highlighting text editor like GEdit, but since you're running KDE the closest equivalent would be Kate, as suggested by Roxoff.
