Hello and Welcome to the Forums.
Try using this code to get a little more info on the Wifi card.
Do you have a wired connection already working? It makes things easier if you do, the reason I ask is because there seems to be a module loaded but I could be wrong.Code:lsusb --vv |grep Linksys
Post the output of this command too, please.r8169 40964 0
Code:ifconfig

Hi, I do not have a wired connection. I would actually rather have a wired connection but the modem is too far from my computer. I tried the lsusb --vv command and received unrecognized option error so I just used the option -v.
Code:# lsusb -v | grep Linksys Bus 001 Device 002: ID 1737:0070 Linksys idVendor 0x1737 Linksys iManufacturer 1 Cisco-Linksys LLC iProduct 2 Linksys WUSB100 RangePlus Wireless USB Adapter # ifconfig eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:1F:BC:01:12:08 UP BROADCAST MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000 RX bytes:0 (0.0 b) TX bytes:0 (0.0 b) Interrupt:18 Base address:0x6000 eth1 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:1F:BC:01:12:09 UP BROADCAST MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000 RX bytes:0 (0.0 b) TX bytes:0 (0.0 b) Interrupt:16 Base address:0x8000 lo Link encap:Local Loopback inet addr:127.0.0.1 Mask:255.0.0.0 inet6 addr: ::1/128 Scope:Host UP LOOPBACK RUNNING MTU:16436 Metric:1 RX packets:44 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:44 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:0 RX bytes:3648 (3.5 KiB) TX bytes:3648 (3.5 KiB)

Well, the last output shows there are two devices, eth0 and eth1.
Execute this command and post the output please.
Code:iwlist eth0 scan
While we're at it, go ahead and get the output of this command too.Code:iwlist eth1 scan
Have you tried using the Network tool? I think there is an Icon for it in the system tray area.Code:lspci

There was recently another thread about this wireless. A quick search found the thread:
http://www.linuxforums.org/forum/wir...lp-please.html
It seems that it should be using the rt73usb driver, but I don't see it loaded on your system.
Edit: WAIT! That isn't a recent thread! I know that it was discussed recently, I just am not certain in which thread.Paul

Upon further review....

I think that the Ralink rt2870 driver is the correct one for this wireless. It can be installed from the RPM Fusion repository. You first need to enable the repository.
RPM Fusion - RPM Fusion
You could also install it from the source available from Ralink.
Ralink Technology: LinuxPaul
