The problem is that RHEL is an Enterprise distro, intended for office and server use. It has very poor or no wireless support, because it is not needed in those environments. However, it does appear to be loading the correct driver for your card:
Your card reqires firmware, which should be placed into the /lb/firmware folder. You want the microcode image for 4965, which can be downloaded from here:Code:Module Size Used by iwlagn 94297 0
Intel® Wireless WiFi Link drivers for Linux*
You must unpack the file before putting the image file in the /lib/firmare folder.
It is still possible that the driver won't work for your card (I had this problem with the Atheros ath5k driver). You then should download and compile the latest drivers. They can be otained here:
Download - Linux Wireless
To compile driver modules on Red Hat, you will also need to install these:
kernel-devel
kernel-headers
gcc
makePaul

Oh, and for the D-Link USB wireless, It looks like you would have to use NDISwrapper for that.
NDISwrapper uses the Windows XP driver to make it work in Linux. It's a bit of a hack, but sometimes it is the only way. The most important thing is to get it to work.Paul
