    Page out rate issue.

    Hi,

I am involving one of application performance testing. During our test we observed that the page out rate was 90 % (60 Rate per Sec) during the test run for one of the proxy server. But the memory utilisation was observed to be less than 10 % , and the CPU utilisation was observed less than 5 % during the test run. Kindly help me how to correlate the page out rate and memory? what kind of issues may be? Suggest.

    Appreciate your reply. Thanks.

    Regards
    Aru

Without more information regarding what your application(s) are doing, as well as some relevant system information (distribution+version of linux, kernel version, how you are profiling the applications, etc) this would be difficult to say.
