Best Linux solution for inexpensive faxmodem (voice capable)
Hello,
[My very crappy $8.00 USB keyboard is seriously doing me dirty: with so many missed [i] presses and then jumping triple [sss]'s, my efficiency as a typist is 'challenged'. So I'll just paste (with hope), my ready-made Q:]
__With all the complications in compiling drivers for older Win based PCI card faxmodems (e.g. PCTel HSP56 Micromodems), what is the best solution to obtaining a similar fax/voice (v.90 flex) modem, which doesn't cost >$40 and works with Linux? [And preferably isn't fax over email]?__
Any particular brands (e.g. US Robotics) or models that work well with Fedora 10/Linux?
I need faxing capability! 8>D
