    browser not opening

    i have rhel 3 with mozilla as the webbrowser the browser is showing the hourglass on clicking the icon and is not opening.how can i solve this without reinstalling the os.

    Execute firefox command in Terminal and post error message here, if any.

    that particular machine is showing an error in file system check.so it is not booting.sometimes later may be i'll have a check with ur command.thanks.

    If you're dual-booting with Windows, I'd suggest booting your Linux installation in single user, and then seeing what errors come up. Personally, I have to fix my filesystem with fsck each time I boot Windows, else Fedora won't boot...
