Not able to get the login window for my Linux Box

    Dear friends

I am using Fedora core 9 for Linux. I have installed Xlaunch, Xming on my windows machine. When I tried to connect to my linux box via xlaunch, I am not getting the linux login window appearing. The steps that I follow is
    1. start/program/xmig/xlaunch
    2. one window in Display setting GUI
    3. session type as "open session via xdmcp
4.connect to host "my linux machine IP"
    5.uncheck the clipboard option
    6. do not save the configuration

result: - A blank grey colour screen appears without any login information request.

Note: - However I can see my AIX box by following same procedure

Perhaps you need to enable the Linux system on your client's X server (xhost server-ip-address)?
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
