SSH-1.99-OpenSSH_3.9p1 Protocol mismatch.

Hello everyone!

This is my first post here! Really liking this forum

I have a slight problem. I am trying to make a tunnel between my SErver (Centos) and my homecomputer (xp) using Putty.

I enter all the details in Putty and forward the relevant ports.I then configure my Firefox browser to use the Tunnel created by the putty. But when I open any website I get the following error:

SSH-1.99-OpenSSH_3.9p1
Protocol mismatch.

I searched for the above online, but couldnt really find anything. I tried creating a tunnel using someone else's laptop but it is giving the same problem. Therefore, the problem is either with the Wifi link or with the server.

Any ideas on how to solve it?

me too ,but i am using centos
