    If RHEL wasn't a good choice then Red Hat would not be profitable for the last 10 years in a row, would it?

    Other popular server distros are CentOS (which is Red Hat, without Red Hat support and brand name) and Debian. Ubuntu is getting more share thanks to the popularity & familiarity of the Desktop Edition and corporate support from Canonical.
