The hostname of your computer is set in the file /etc/sysconfig/network. You can edit it with your text editor of choice. Note that you'll need root permissions to write to the file.

    thanks for ur quicky reply.

Now I already change the hostname by using root account.

But when I open my terminal, promt me as user@master:~ (now I'm using user account.)

    so what is the master?

I think should be " user@hostname:~" Is the right one?

    Hello and Welcome!

In this case, master would be your hostname/computer name.
Have you already edited your file to reflect your changes?
