I have tried and tried . I use

system-config-network and set the IP, Netmas, Gateway then go and set the dns....

for some reason I cant get my internet on. I go ahead and do service network restart and all that was configured on the dns is lost . I wnet to resolv.conf before and after service network restart
before The dns that i specified was there after the command it erased the dns.

when i ping the router I get reply so the static ip is working its the dns that is not helping.

can anyone help or has had this problem? do i need to update something? this is realy getting on my nerves jaja .... please help!

im using fedora 10, just in case .
