Files On External Hard Disk
hi everybody
I am new in linux red hat
i am using linux 2.4.20-8, and I have files on my exteral hard disk.
I want to copy this files to a directory called /sybase
also, I want to copy from /sybase to my external hard disk
Note: my external hard disk on NTFS files system
how to see my external hard disk to perform this

2.4.20-8 doesn't support NTFS. Install kmod-ntfs rpm to enable NTFS read access or install ntfs-3g to enable both, read and write access.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
