    Ethernet and Wireless not Working

    hi I have red hat 2.4.20-8
    my ethernet card is:
    realtek TRL8139/810x family fast ethernet NIC

    when I go to system settings----networks , I did not find the ethernet card

    also, my wireless card is
    intel(R) PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection
    how to define it, because I cannot see it

    NOTE: I am new in Linux, so kindly tell me the instructions in details

    Hi and Welcome !

    Is there any reason for using such an old kernel version? I would suggest you try latest version of RHEL. CentOS and Fedora are RedHat based and free to download/install.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
