hi

i have an acer aspire one with linpus linux lite version 1.0.9.E based on fedora 7. whenever i make a new user i cant connect to the internet and i cant control any settings. i made the user by typing

sudo useradd new_user_id

any fedora comands will work. if anyone can tell me what else i need to do that would be great. thanks.

Hello.
YOu probably need to add this new user to the networking group, I don't know which group this would be on Fedora or Linpus, perhaps some one else can chime in with that info. You might be able to find out which groups the original user is a member of, and try to mimic those settings for the new user.
