In short, I have an HP server that has 2 physical drives in RAID1 (HP Smart Array controller) that was originally setup by a vendor, OS installed by the vendor, and then shipped here. I added 4 physical drives in RAID5 (HP Smart Array controller) and i want to use them as a filesystem called /ora_backup.

My issue is that i do not know what device id has been assigned to this disk array. Is there a way to figure out what RHEL will recognize this disk as?
