    Memory Issue

    Folks,

I have Redhat Linux ES(AS) 2.1 for my database machine with 8 GB RAM. When I run the databases, the OS counts only 4 GB RAM and it doesn't count the remaining.

What should I do to fix this?

    Thanks

    Hi,

You are most probably running the wrong kernel! There is a kernel called "kernel-enterprise" .

    Either you do a
    Code:
    up2date kernel-enterprise
or go to the RHN -> do a package search and install it manually...

Let me know how it works out for you!

    Cheers
