How to shutdown system through crontab

I am practicing on "crontab" and am able to get system status in time but I want to shut my system through crontab.

#15 12 11 06 thu init 0


It doesn't work So, Plz help me........

Try using the 'shutdown' command. You might want to put it in a script, too, and put the script reference in crontab.
