Do you mean to create a fedora server on a virtual machine hosted by another OS? Or to create a fedora server capable of running client operating systems in a VM?
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.

Generally not difficult. A lot depends upon the host operating system and the virtual machine manager software you plan on using: xen, vmware, virtualbox, etc. I use Sun's VirtualBox to run Windows, Linux, and Solaris guest operating systems on my RHEL/CentOS 5.3 system. Mostly they work very well, though a bit slower than on physical hardware, which is to be expected.
