I have installed Red Hat Linux Enterprise 4 with "Everything" as option for installing all the available software packages. So far Firefox 3.0 is working fine but it needs Flash player to display me some flash enabled site. When I tried through the browser it told me to install flash manually. So I downloaded flash RPM package and trued to run rpm -Uvh on it, it showed the following error -

rpm -Uvh flash-plugin-10.0.22.87-release.i386.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
glibc >= 2.4 is needed by flash-plugin-10.0.22.87-release.i386

So now I tried to download and know how to install glibc and found many sites tell to use yum to install it. Howver, I don't have YUM installed as well.

Any idea, how should I proceed with the flash plugin installation? I will appreciate any comment on this.
