    UPS Software

    We are looking for software that is Red Hat Release 5 friendly that can monitor the ups and send alerts. We were looking to purchase a Tripp Lite 2200 and I was hoping someone new of a Linux friendly software.

    You really need something from the UPS manufacturer. There is a free limited version of Powercom's upsmon program for Linux, but I don't know if it works with Tripp Lite units or not. You can download it here: UPS technet - download

    thank you. I did look it up and it doesn't look bad. I think we are opting out to buy the snmpwebcard that Tripp Lite provides for remote management.
