In CentOs Go System > Preferences > Remove Desktop, there you can select "Allow other users to view your desktop"

Then with vnc client you connect to <hostname>:0.

Hope this helps, and answers your question.

Note: On my CentOs I have following installed using yum:
    vnc-4.1.2-14.el5_3.1
    vnc-server-4.1.2-14.el5_3.1

    Remote desktop connection works fine.
But with VNC server and client setup how do I get the Native X display support (remoting the ":0" console).
    I am using CentOS 5.3
