We're going to need more information if we are to help you properly. For a start, who is your ISP and what kind of broadband connection do you have? Also, what is the program you use to log in?

When you say you get disconnected, what error messages do you get or does the login program just inform you that you have been disconnected?

Finally, what have you been checking out that makes you think it's a DNS problem?

Once we have that we might be able to have a go at solving your problem.

Let us know how you get on.
To be good, you must first be bad. "Newbie" is a rank, not a slight.
